Nazeene Reed
|
This is not a group in the conventional sense but a reminder that you can recycle pill blister packs at our regular Wednesday meetings by giving them to Nazeene Reed.
You cannot recycle blister packs via kerbside collections (SODCs recycling guide says put them in the black bin which goes to the ERF) but they can be recycled via a few special collection points. Nazeene has volunteered to collect and recyle them for us with Super Drug and this raises money for Marie Curie.
Blister packs must be empty with no tablets in them. Packs with tablets should be taken to a pharmacy (Boots in Thame) for safe disposal. Empty inhalers cannot be recyled by Nazeen either.
Nazeene also collects milk bottle tops to raise funds for Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
There is also a collection point for used stamps at Christ Church.
Please contact Nazeene Reed for further information.
